Dr. Watson has published 25 books and over 100 scholarly articles on such topics as the presidency, women in politics, civil rights,
election reform, national security, environment policy and American politics. A frequent media commentator, Dr. Watson has been interviewed many hundreds of times by most major media
outlets in the country, including CNN, ABC, MSNBC, FOX News, USA Today, The New York Times and has appeared on C-SPAN’s
Book TV program several times. Four of his books have been translated in international translation and have been nominated for
book awards.
